So it is finally out in the open, we the Rogers family, are expecting Baby #2 January 31. We are sooo excited about this addition to our family. It is such a blessing to be able to carry a child, and now having the opportuity to do it again, I feel like the luckiest woman!

This pregnancy didn't take too long. Chad and I actually tried for a month. I stopped breastfeeding in January, finally got a "normal" cycle a few months later, then bam... pregnant in by the end of May! I found out the last day of school! Finally went to the doctor at 8 weeks, then again at 12 weeks. Susan, thought I was 15-16 week at my 12 week appt, so she scheduled me for an ultrasound. We finally had that today. She thought I might be pregnant with twins, but today we found our that there was only ONE healthy baby!

Now for the deilvery... as of now, I am hoping to deliver in Korea. Chad requested to be command sponsored, so if that happens it will make life a whole lot easier. If not, as of now what I have heard, is that I will get prenatal care at Osan, then deilver up at the Army base in Seoul. If that happens, I will be extatic! Worse case scanerio, I go visit had in November, come home after Christmas, deliver in the states, the go back to Korea a month or two later. Still lots of questions to be answered, but I know it is all in God's hands, and he will work everything out! He always does!

Korea....

So now that we have orders to Korea... in October, I am (or was) totally freaking out!!! I would ask Chad a million questions a day, not sleep at night, because I was thinking of all the things that were going to happen, and so on. Well my hubby, has been super patient with me, and taken care of a lot of things. He talked with Mitchell (a guy who used to work at the 303rd, then went to Korea for 2 years) yesterday for over an hour. He took lots of notes, and put so many of my concerns to rest. I really think everything is going to work out now. I still have one BIG issue that I am stressing (a little less) about, but I think this too is going to work out. One way or another, everything is going to work out for our family, and we will be able to be together, in Korea, traveling the East, with one 2 year old... I am starting to get really excited about all the changes happening! This time next year, I will be in Korea, or maybe somewhere else since its a long weekend, enjoying my life and my family. I can't wait!!!

I wish...

Meeting Donal Duck

The Whole Rogers Family!

Ty and Hunter

Father and Son walking into the Ocean for the first time!

So it's been a while since the last post, lots has happened since then!!! We got our assignment, to Korea! We were thinking we were not going to move until January or the end of this year, but that was not the case, we are out of here in October! Chad has to report October 10th, so I will probably go sometime at the end of October or early November. Either way, that is VERY soon, and we have lots to do until then!!! Anyway,

Sometimes I just wish people would keep their mouth's shut or think about what they say before they say it!!! I have LOTS of questions about this move and LOTS of personal things going on that will def play a role in this move, but when people start asking questions and stressing me out about things I can not control and don't have any idea about, I just HATE it!! I am an easily stressed person, and am already having trouble sleeping at night. When people ask and question and I don't know an answer, it just makes it worse. When I know the answers to all your questions, I will let you know about everything! :)

On a positive note, we recently got back from a vacation to Disney World and Cocoa Beach. We had a great time. I think Ty really enjoyed it and I am looking forward to going back when all our kids are older than....5!!! Yep 5! I think that is the golden age for Disney World!

School Finally Ending

So in 7.5 days, I will finally be a stay at home mom! I am really looking forward to this, but at the same time a little nervous about the changes that are happening in my life. I have worked since I was in high school. The longest period of time I have not worked was when I was at home on maternity leave. And honestly, I can say I really did enjoy my job this past year. My students were great and made me laugh on a daily basis. I went to graduation last night, and as I was walking out, was thinking, I will probably never see half of these students ever again. For some, a blessing, for others, probably something I will miss. Odessa High school has been a place for friendship, learning, and laughing.

Oh the flip side, I finally get to stay home with Ty.... and hopefully #2 sooner than later! I am so excited to be home with him. I am trying to keep myself busy, and I am sure if won't be hard. With play dates, trips to the pool, Parents Day Out, running the house, and getting the house ready to sell, etc, I think I will find plenty of things to do! On top of all this, we are expecting an assignment in July, and Chad was told moving as early as October! Who knows what will really happen, but it is always a possibility!

I am truly blessed that I am able to stay at home with Ty, and watch him grow up. I have a wonderful husband, who makes enough money to allow me to do this. I am such a lucky and blessed wife and mother.

Sick Kido...

What a wonderful way to end the week.... Chad got home around 815 last night, after being gone all week, and leaving again in the morning to be gone all weekend, I am exhausted, get up, get ready for work, in Odessa when I get a call from Chad that Ty puked all over his bed and it is all over him. It was pretty disgusting, and I was gagging myself as I was cleaning it up. He seems fine now, playing, babbling, and napping as normal. I am hoping it is just a 24 hour bug, because a few of the kids at Flo's (Ty's babysitter) had it this week. Let's hope so, because I planned on driving up to St. Joe (where Chad is) tomorrow to go to the airshow. If he is fine all day, I think we will head up there, but if we have another episode of "sickness" I will probably be staying home taking care of a little one! Enjoy your weekend! :)

Quick note.... 7 days of seniors, 17 totaly for me, till I get a new job....a STAY AT HOME MOMMY!!! Oh I am so excited! :)

Walking...

So finall after months of waiting, Ty has started walking on his own. He has been crawling since he was 8 months old, so I was sure he would be walking by his birthday, but no, I was wrong! On Saturday he took a few steps on his own, on Sunday about 10 or so steps, and today he was walking between pieces of furniture. He is still crawling, but finally in my book I can say he took his first steps!!! YEAH!!!

Other than a walking toddler, nothing too exciting going on. We are awaiting our next assignment. We should be getting it sometime this summer, July or August. We assume we will be going to Korea, but there is no telling. We could be going to another A-10 base or to another jet all together. I sure never thought I would be living in Missouri!!! We'll make the best of what ever happens, as we always do!

Spring

Last weekend we celebrated Easter with some friends. We went to church then over to a close friends, Heather & Jonathans for burnch. It is nice to be able to celebrate holidays with friends when our family is so far away. We had a mini Easter egg hunt at our house. Ty just crawled around picking up, and chewing on all the eggs. Either way I think he had fun. I know I had a blast taking pictures of him!!
