Last week we found out that there was a potential that Chad's Korea dates would get pushed back to the end of Jan/ beginning of Feb. I guess there are too many guys showing up in December to get trained, so the commander asked is Chad minded getting pushed back month or so. Obviously, we totally didn't care and were excited about the potential change. Well we found out today, that his dates have been changed to mid February.
This means....
1) Chad won't miss Christmas (or shouldn't unless for some reason he stays in Afghanistan's much longer)
2) I won't have to live with my parents for 3 months
3) Chad will def be home and around for the birth of our baby
4) We have a few extra months to sell our house!
5) We get to have our baby here with the same midwives I had deliver Ty
6) I will prob be able to have the baby naturally (still praying it comes early), but hopefully no induction!
7) And much more... I am just not sure of those at this moment!
I am still SUPER excited about our move to Korea, and it can't come soon enough, but this just makes life a little easier. I am a little nervous about if we do sell the house, what will happen, but I am not going to stress about that until I have to!
Baby Update.....
23 weeks along! Over half way...
Feeling him move a lot

A Sad Day
Day 1.... trying to put on a happy face.
After we got out of the shower at the hotel the morning Chad left. This picture make me laugh everytime I look at it.So last week Chad left for his deployment. He is only going to be gone for 2+ months (not too long), but once he returns, he will turn around and report to Korea a few weeks later. Then we have another 2+ month time of being apart!! So far things are going pretty well. I have not cried too much, a few times though. The other day, Ty poked his head into our bedroom and was looking for his daddy....That made me cry. The Tim McGraw song, If Your Reading This... that made me cry, and a few other conversations with close friends made me cry. But I think so far so good!! I am trying to stay busy while he is gone, but I have a feeling that the weekends are going to drag. This is the time everyone spends with their husbands, and unfortunatly mine is gone. Hopefully some Ohio State Football will help pass that time! On the week days, we have Kindermusik on Tuesday mornings, Biblestudy Wednesday mornings, and PDO (Parents Day Out) on Thursday's. All fun activities for Ty and myself!!! Here are a few pictures from our first few days without Chad.

Missorui State Fair
Riding on Daddy's shoulders
The Electric Ball! :) Another favorite!
This past weekend, we made it out to the Missorui State Fair in Sedalia, Missorui. It was a great time. Incomparisson to Ohio fairs, I would say it was average. I would actually compare it to the Wood county fair and Chad thought his local fair was atually better. It wasn't too big, but def big enough for us to get our fill of FRIED food, aminals, and people watching! I really think Ty had a great time too. He was a little scared of the horse (held tightly to Chad as he tried to let him pet it), but he was def impressed with the cows, chickens, and petting zoo.
Baby Update -16 weeks 1 day....
I went to the doctor yesterday, everything was great. Baby's heart beat was between 146-152, just about the same as Ty's was most of my pregnancy. I was measuring 17cm, so right on track. We were able to schedule our ultrasound for 18 weeks. Since my BCBS insurance ends at the end of the month, they were able to schedule it before it ends. We are REALLY hoping to be able to see the sex of the baby, since Chad is leaving so soon. I think it is another boy, but really I have no idea!! :) Either way we will be excited!!

Keeping Busy
Last weekend was a little long, Chad worked ALL weekend for the UTA, and since it was his last with this squadron, he took a little extra time to enjoy it...meaning he left Friday morning, and arrived home Saturday night. LONG weekend for Ty and I!! Anyway, we did a couple new fun things to keep us busy. Friday morning we went to Gage Center (a gymnastics center) where they have open play for an hour, and Saturday morning we went to Powell Gardens. We had a blast both places, and I finally think Ty is starting to enjoy getting out a doing fun things!!! This fall we are planning on enrolling in Kindermusic and hopefully a few other activities!

Swinging at Gage Center. One of Ty's favorite activities!!

Jumping on the trampoline!

Climbing the Chicken Coop (not a real one) at Powell Gardens. He and Cole ended up playing Pic a boo for about 10 minutes! Heather and I just laughed!! :)
Ty and Cole made some butterfly antani!!! I had the help with Ty's coloring, he still likes to just eat the crayons!!

The Latest News....
So it seems like our plans with this whole move to Korea keep changing, but here is the latest news, as of last week. I don't see if changing, except for maybe a few dates here and there.

Of course I had to include an Ohio State page. I just picked a random Saturday in October to cheer on our Buckeyes!
In 2 weeks, we are going to be making a trip down to Moody AFB, so Chad can fly with the 74th FS before they deploy. He is going to deploy for 3 (ish) months. That means September through November (sometime). When ever he comes back, he will have a little time off, them report to Korea. He will probably not report to Korea before the 1st of December, I am hoping more like the 1st of January. Either way, I will probably stay in the states now to have our baby. If I went with Chad I would be 32 weeks, and waited to go a month after him like we had always planned, I would be 36 weeks. Either way that is probably too late for me to fly. The only way I would go over ahead of time, is if we got command sponsored. Then I would fly over with him in December, and have the baby in Korea. It is crazy how things change so much with the AF. I guess it always makes life exciting, but it also makes for a HUGE headache!!! We are hoping to find out the sex of the baby before he leaves to deploy, there is NO way that I can wait till November or December to find out, so I am praying they will let us try!!!
While the boys are gone the wives in the squadron make a calender page for everyday that they are gone. I picked 3 days while Chad is going to be there, on in September (the 1st page), one in October, (2nd page) , and one in November (3rd page). You are supposed to pick dates around something that is meaningful to your family. Anyway, here is what I put together for Chad!

In September our new baby we will 20 weeks gestation. I thought that would make for a good "Daddy" page!
Of course I had to include an Ohio State page. I just picked a random Saturday in October to cheer on our Buckeyes!
We will be celebrating our 4th Wedding Anniversary on November 25. He will probably not be there still, so I choose a date at the beginning of November to celebrate this wondering day! (I spelled anniversary wrong... I fixed it!)
Anyway.......As for now, our life is ever changing. But we are so blessed to have such a wonderful child, a healthy baby on the way, a healthy strong marriage, and be fortunate enough have all our needs met. What ever is thrown our way, we will get though together!

Chicago Trip
This last weekend, we went to Chicago to see my sister, go to the Rockford AirFest and see our great friends, the Collins. We had a great time, except for all the early flights. But now I have learned, that the earlier the flight the better... meaning Ty sleeps on the plane and less entertaining for me. It is exhausting traveling alone with a 1.5 year old, but since it was only an hour flight, it was do able!
Saturday we went to see Chad at the Airshow. He had a great time answering lots of questions about the A-10, signing autographs, and taking tons of pictures. I really think Ty enjoyed it too. He kept pointing at the planes and talking in his language! I got to see the A-10 demo show for the first time, and really liked that too. Surprisingly, the Rockford AirFest was a great show!!!
After the show on Saturday, we drove back into Chicago to see our great friends, Ryan, Steph and Mason Collins. Mason was born at 27 weeks gestation, so he is a little over 4 months old, but really more like a 1 month old. He is catching up so fast, and next time we see them, I am sure he will be into as much as Ty!!!
