Thanksgiving in Chicago!

This year Ty and I made the trip up to Chicago for Thanksgiving. It was not a normal holiday for us, and didn't really feel like Thanksgiving. Since Chad being gone, and it being our anniversary, it was just not the same. But, we did have fun with my parents, sister and aunt and uncle. We had a great time, but it was definitely difficult flying 30 weeks pregnant with a 20 month old on my lap! Thankfully Ty did great and it was only a one hour flight both to and from Chicago!
This year was extra special, because Chad and I celebrated our 4 year wedding anniversary on Thanksgiving day. Unfortunately, we didn't do much celebrating, and it def didn't feel like an anniversary, but Chad was sweet enough to ask my dad to buy some flowers for me! He did a great job picking out a dozen red roses! For our gift, we decided to take a trip somewhere together, without kids!!! Since I am still pregnant, we are hoping to take a weekend trip once we get to Korea, when my parents come in town to visit!

Ty's first and only bite of Thanksgiving. He didn't eat anything but pink salad!! Eventually he'll realize how yummy the food is!!!

Julie and I, def sisters!

Trying to get Ty to smile and have his eyes open. It didn't happen. As always, he was too busy playing having fun!
