37 weeks 3 days...

Still nothing exciting to report. I was told thought that next week they will do an internal check to see if there is any progression. I am REALLY hoping so......so in the mean time, I am walking daily and doing my best to get this baby ready for the world! :)

Belly Pictures

Two weeks ago, 36 weeks along, a friend in the neighborhood, volunteered to take some belly pictures of me. I think they turned out great, especially for an amature! There are a few more, like ones of us holding his name below my below my belly, but those are a secret until he arrives! :)

The nursery is just about finished, all I need to do it put his name above the crib and put up a few more pictures (some belly pics and some newborn pics when he finally arrives!) Overall I think it turned out REALLY cute!! :) Now I can not wait to him to be in it!

36 weeks 3 days...

Another doc appts today...nothing to report, just some slight weight gain!!! :( I am just thinking, no more than 4 appts left!! :)

Another doc appt... 35 weeks 3 days

Went to the doc again today. I swear they are always running late. I was there for almost an hour for a 10 minute appt!!!! Crazy... but I am not going to complain too much, because I got to leave school a period early!! :) That always makes for a good day.

Anyway, I didn't gain any weight this appt (finally), but the baby did grow. I measured 36 cm, so nothing to worry about!! Only a few appts left! :)

Warrensburg Baby Shower

I had my last baby shower yesterday, and needless to say it was a very exciting afternoon. The day started out great, I got up and went to work on my cake (I volunteered to make it since I love doing them so much). It didn't take me too long, just a few hours. During this same time, the "winter fairy" decided to make an appearence again in Warrensburg. The weather men here are NEVER right, but the one day where I have something going on, they are. From about 8- 11am, it snowed 5 inches!!!! We thought about postponing the shower, but then decided to go with it since I had friends driving in from out of town. Anyway, Chad drove me and Heather Garner over to Chanices and that is where the excitment all started!!! As we were going to turn into Chanie's neighborhood, the truck slid sideways and ended up in the ditch!!!!! Yes, the ditch! I about had a heart attach, but somehow managed to save the cake without a dent! Somehow Chad was able to get us out of the ditch, but without any major problems, just one, the cake was done for! As you can see in the pictures, my fingers held the cake from flying onto me, Chad or anywhere else in the car!!! Once we finally made it to Chanies, the shower was great!!! I had a great friend from Iowa drive down, along with a friend come up from Enid. I got lots of goodies and can not wait to use them all!! :)
