Merry Christmas

This year we decided and had to stay in Warrensburg for Christmas. Since I was 35 week along, there was no traveling 12+ hours to Ohio to spend it with both our families. Instead we stayed home and my parents and sister came to see us! We had a great time and did all the traditional festivities, Prok chops & church on Christmas Eve, stocking and presents on Christmas morning. This is a blend of both Chad and my family traditions!

This year was extra fun, because Ty actually enjoyed opening and playing with his toys! We opened our stockings first. Ty enjoyed getting puzzles, books, coloring pages and a few smaller toys. The rest of us get lots of other goodies. My favorite stocking stuffer was a Cake Pops book and a Mini Cakes cupcake baker! My mom says, sometimes stocking stuffers cost more than presents alone! But this is one McDermott tradition that I LOVE, and will continue to do with our family!

The Christmas tree after Santa came! Ty didn't get any "big" presents this year because of our move to Korea. We told people to only buy small light weight toys and clothes, or else they would go into storage for a year or so. Thankfully they listened!
